Still this week, the builders are adding more wire-mesh support in preparations for plastering the ceiling. After we create a plastered ceiling, we can waterproof it and add the times. When the roof is finally waterproof, then we can continue with finishing the plastering work on the inside. Soon… 😉
This week,the building is at beam level and both windows and door frames are already fixed.
Can you see now how the work is moving on at high speed?Here we started with inside walls and before this week is gone, we expect the start on the outside walls.
Our new staff house is being fitted with metal roof trusses. And a start is made on the fitting of wire-mash that will support the plastered ceiling. Here we see Patrick and Ezra at work
After the foundation has been done, this week there has been raising of wall columns and now beginning of wall building too.
As many different kind of projects are being handled, the new staff house is on our shortlist.At this week, it’s the roof is being worked up on. Up to now we have been working on the trusses and also wiring in advance to avoid inconveniences. Once the roof is on, we can go high speed…
After having taken much time on raising of the foundation wall, this week our builders are now focused on casting the floor slab.
For the last couple of weeks, there has been very serious work of casting of foundation beam. Indeed it has consumed some good time but it’s one of it’s kind. However, soon they will begin on floor casting.
Almost done with the refilling/compacting of mar-rum and now adding the aggregates.
It has been a week of plastering the foundation walls and beginning of refilling the foundation with marrum and aggregates.This foundation is an extra-high and is to consume good quantity of materials. This is because we are beginning on the lowest block where the plot is sloping at an angle.
