Having worked on the roof tiles, we can now breath a bit with the girls’ dorm as we allow the the finishing work of installing beds, wiring, windows and doors plus floor tiles which are soon done. The admirable building just took our builders one and half day to achieve all that . Thanks all…
Towards the end of the year, we thank God for strengthening our builders with much speed that saw the roof constructed before Christmas break. Most of the work was done including fixing the floor tiles in most rooms.
After pouring of the slab,some few technical staff remained on raising staircase which is yet another complicated work that calls for patience.
After laying of max-pans, Week 38 had some intensive work by all the builders especially when it came to the time of the roof concrete casting. This long building took some three days of hard work to be done. Right now that hard part has been done and the finishing is the casting of concrete…
Our builders are working hard to set the roof for concrete pouring. This is the most hardest part because if not done well, it can lead to collapsing. We believe some few weeks from now, it will be done.
The builders are now organizing the re-bars for concrete floor casting.
This week all the walls , window and door frames of new girls’ dorm have been fixed. Now the builders are casting the concrete columns.
Just a few days after floor concrete pouring, we now see the dorm coming up and by the end of next week,we shall be planning for fixing of door and window frames.With all the materials available and this man-power,work is going to move on well.
A combination of all workers making it happen by all means. A four bed roomed dorm took all these workers almost 16 hours to get it finished.The work was a bit hectic but we thank God for the strength our people had. At least now are going to begin on the walls this very week.
This Week still the builders are still pouring the concrete wall foundation.
