Who we are

We are the Heart For Children (Non-Profit) Organization.(H4C)
H4C was started by Cor & Grace Koelewijn in Uganda and has branches in The Netherlands & Germany. The Ugandan organization is started to help orphaned children by enrolling them in our boarding schools called Kimbilio. Presently we operate Kimbilio Primary and High schools in Osia-Tororo. These operations are supported by the branches in the Netherlands and Germany by sponsoring these orphans and by general donations facilitating the expansion of the schools.
Our website address is: http://en.heart4children.org.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Sponsors

As a non-profit that deals with helping orphans we can not escape keeping some data of our sponsors, donors and the children under our care. The type of data we collect refers only to what we need it for and only for the duration that the person is an active donor or sponsor or student. The data is kept only in the country office where the donor resides (station) and the child data is kept only in the project office where the child resides. The sharing of data between the “Implementing station” and the “fund-raising station” is limited to the person’s “Name” and “Town” or “Village” the person is residing. All other personal data is strictly kept in the station where it is needed.
Letters written by sponsors are meticulously checked for addresses and email-addresses or phone numbers and those are blotted out so as to safeguard the privacy of the sponsors and the children.

Where a person requests us to delete their personal records we do so without delay except for those records required by the stations government for tax and financial compliance laws purposes. Where the person requests us to provide them with a copy of the data we have on record for them, we comply and provide a copy and send it to them promptly.
