The long awaited day ever since their marriage in 1994 that majority of the invited guests missed to witness ,finally happened with a lot of joy and fun from different groups. This was their 30th wedding and marriage anniversary that was supposed to take place on 22nd-January but was transferred to 27th-January to favor every one in attendance. The function that began at Mid-day, ended at 5:30pm with all the activities attended to. The function was graced by the number of guests from with in and far and they included; Bishops,pastors,Directors of different organizations, church members, family members, invited singers,women of Praise who the bride is part, our own PAG band and the surrounding communities.
The wedding anniversary comprised of sixteen couples whom our bride has ever helped to be their matron and mentor.
The sermon was preached by Pr Michael Owori their lead pastor in Pentecostal Assemblies of God and the theme was about the” MYSTERY in marriage” and pondering about how God is unique in bringing people of different races to together. He further emphasized the marriage is the oldest institution in the whole world and that God honors it. He also appreciated the bride and bride groom for loving each other and doing things together and at the same time being one’s keeper.Dr Omalla their biological father thanked his son in law and the daughter for reaching this day and prayed to God to still keep them for the good cause. Finally the bride and the groom thanked God for the milestone that has been not just a slope but rather some struggles that have made them reach this far . They acknowledged greatly all the support they received from different people and for honoring their invitation. They still cut a cake and took some vows before the congregation and promised to serve one another with enthusiasm up to the last breath. Continue praying for us as we look forward to the golden jubilee @ 50 years.
