Apart from the big projects, some builders have been doing ‘rough-cast’ work on the primary school while others are extending the wall fence.
Having prepared all form work of 4 bedrooms and 1 bathroom, here the builders are preparing the roof for concrete casting which is now few days. The red-clay bricks are what is called here ‘maxpans’. They make the hanging floor kind of hollow with air pockets inside, thereby reducing the total weight of the floors…
Having set the formwork for 4 bedrooms, they are now left with the bathrooms only. Then the next work will be setting electrical conduits and setting the maxpans (hollow clay brickets)
